Personal note from Barry:
“God created man in HIS image with a desire for adventure and risk as a part of his spirit. We have not effectively appealed to these desires in traditional Christian settings to this point.
It is my goal to use the excitement and attraction of outdoor adventure to create environments where the Holy Spirit can work in the lives of men. It is as these times we can share with him the excitement and adventure contained in the gospel message.
We want men to realize how he can apply his warrior like spirit in becoming part of the battle for GOD’S KINGDOM that begins with a battle for his own heart.”
“I've walked with very few men that have championed my heart and the heart of Jesus more than Barry Strickland. Strength, passion, integrity, authenticity, love. This man is a forerunner in what it looks like in the dailies to live in such a way where God has to show up."
- Morgan Snyder, with Ransomed Heart/Wild at Heart
