How Poetic
God is so good. So true to His word and so poetic. Jeremiah 29:11 says:
‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for your welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.![]()
As many of you know, earlier this year God instructed us to sell our house. Many people thought we were nuts for selling an “owned” home in this economy and this horrible real estate market. Within 6 weeks we had a contract on the house. God came through big time.
For the next several months, we were blessed to live with Greg’s mom (thanks mom), while we were seeking God on our next move. It wasn’t always easy living in a garage, but we made it through. God slowly brought instruction. First it was the location, then the scenario, and then finally the house. It is in Boiling Springs NC near Gardner-Webb University where we minister. As a huge surprise and blessing, just hours before we got the call from our Real Estate Agent (Cory Warren- Thanks Cory and Jodi) we found out that we are expecting another baby. Mark Folk coined this situation as God being “poetic!” I agree whole heartedly.
Everything came together perfectly in God’s timing. From the right house in the right neighborhood to the best financing and the right price. Then the cherry on top of the sundae, a baby. Wow, God is so so good. Another baby. We are so blessed!
God is writing a story in all of us. He is the Author and Finisher of life. It is a grand story, a beautiful story…full of eternal beauty, hope and love. Romans 15:13 says:
“May God, the giver of hope, fill you with continual joy and peace because you trust in Him - so that you may have abundant hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Yes, trust God, He told us to move and in that unfolded so much more. He will keep His promises and deliver you, guide you, provide for you and be there for you anytime you ask for Him.
