Fierce Love
My name is Gregory Love Sailors. As a child and even as a young man I really wasn’t happy with my parents for naming me “love.” I was teased and called “lover boy,” “g-love,” love daddy” and so on and so forth. It was not easy for sure but God really had a plan for me and it was partly encompassed in that name.
My great grandfather’s name was “Love.” I never knew him but I remember stories from my father and later from my mother about his strength, his wisdom and yes his love. He was a carpenter that late in life (70ish) was called to be a preacher and then a church planter. I wish I could have met him; I’ve been told he was an amazing man that had hands that, “told their own stories.”
I hold his name sake and now am very proud of my name. It really has become a blessing and I believe a module or standard for my life. God wants me to love like He does! Through the linage of my family, whether my father’s family or mother’s family, each side has had great lovers of God and of His people as well as those that do not know Christ. On their shoulders I stand.
As you most likely know if you are reading this post, NWA is going to Nicaragua in just a few hours and my prayer is that the blessings I have had from my family and from the Spirit of God will be made manifest in and through me in everything I and our Team does while ministering to the families in Nicaragua. Mark’s advanced word was that we preach, “Christ Crucified.” as Oswald Chamber’s says and as Saint Patrick’s Breastplate would say, may Christ be in every ear that hears us, every eye that sees us, every mind that thinks of us as well as Christ before us, behind us, above and below us, to our right and left as well as in our past and future.
Fierce Love will move upon the people of this earth! Let that Love prevail over darkness and bring Light in all and through all! Amen! Thank you all for your prayers! More to come!

Every man and woman has core desires. John Eldredge says that a man’s desires are, “a battle to fight, a beauty to rescue and an adventure to live” and says that a woman’s desires are, “to be fought for or pursued, an adventure to share, and a beauty to unveil.”
